CHESAPEAKE -- A man robbed the BB&T branch on Volvo Parkway in Chesapeake Wednesday morning.
Police say the masked robber handed the teller a duffle bag, and the teller put some money into the bag.
The robber left the bank in a red or burgundy Ford Taurus and headed in the direction of Battlefield Blvd.
The suspect remains at large.
Police say the robber did not show a weapon but implied to the bank teller that he was robbing the bank.
Witnesses say the man was wearing dark sunglasses, a surgical mask, gray hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.
He was described as a white male, 6 ft. tall, 25-40 years old, with a thin to medium build.
