VIRGINIA BEACH-- Drivers may have noticed more trash than usual on the roads near Mount Trashmore Wednesday morning.

Avis Budget Group uses a private trash company to haul away its recyclable paper, but papers somehow ended up along  along Baxter Road and Independence Boulevard.

Once company officials learned what happened, employees walked around to pick them up.

13News took some of the papers to Va. Beach Police to see if customers should be concerned about the information on the documents if they all weren't retrieved.

Spokesman Officer Jimmy Barnes stated, "There's nothing there that would be detrimental, that you and I can pick up and go create a false ID with.  You can get more information on the Internet that what's showing on that piece of paper."

However, police stress how important it is to shred important documents that you throw away.
