ACCOMACK COUNTY -- Firefighters battled four fires in three days in Accomack Co.- two of them on Monday - and investigators said they were all intentionally set.

A vacant home on Wessells Farm Road in Temperanceville went up in flames around 9:00 p.m. and, about the same time, an abandoned building on Saxis Road was burned.

There has been a fire on the same road on Feb. 17.

There were also two fires over the weekend. Around 10:05 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to the 30700 block of Drummondtown Road in Wachapreague.  Fire damaged the back of the two-story vacant structure.

About 9:25 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, another two-story building was on fire. Firefighters say the structure in the 2800 block of Beacon Road in Melfa burned to the ground.

No one was hurt in these fires, said agents with the Virginia State Place Bureau of Criminal Investigations.

It had been nearly a week since a vacant building had been burned. The last arson was at an abandoned building on Saxis Road on February 17.

There's a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for setting fires in the county. Call, text or email the tip line at 757-655-1437

Investigators have said it's likely there are several people working together and a few of the fires could be the work of copycats.

There have been 53 arsons and two attempted arsons in the county since mid-November 2012.
