FBI impersonator investigation
WILLIAMSBURG - A 19-year-old man is accused of impersonating an FBI agent.
Police say Joseph Alexander Wilson knocked on the door of a home on Green Street and stated he was making door-to-door checks because of the Connecticut shootings.
Investigators say Wilson was supposed to be selling newspaper subscriptions.
That was around 2:30 p.m. on December 21 and officers located him on York Street, about a third of a mile away, said Major Greg Riley.
Wilson, who lives in York Co., was charged the next day with impersonating a police officer.
He's due in court on January 8.
