VIRGINIA BEACH -- Cyberslackers.  We all know those people at work who spend way too much time online checking their Facebook page, planning a trip, shopping or even looking for love on a dating site.

A 13News Now Investigation examined more than 40,000 social media sites visited by Virginia Beach city workers in just one week.  We found city employees cyberslacking on your dime, and in some cases, the websites they visited may make you blush.

Mayor Will Sessoms was shocked and disappointed by what we found.

“I would ask city workers not to do that. I don’t think it’s a proper use of city property or their time,” Sessoms said.

A 13News Now Investigation looks at what city workers are looking at online -  from pole dancing to donuts, fantasy football to romantic fantasies.  Join us for this special report Thursday at 6 on 13News Now.
