VIRGINIA BEACH - A Virginia Beach school bus with students aboard was involved in a crash with two other vehicles on Monday afternoon.
It happened around 3:20 p.m. in front of 717 S. Military Highway.
Police say several citizens were trying to direct traffic around the Woodstock Elementary School bus and several other vehicles until officers arrived.
According to authorities, a girl was complaining about a leg injury and an adult in their 50s complained of back/neck pain, but it wasn't clear whether either had been on the bus or in another vehicle.
The southbound lanes in front of the crash scene were closed until 5:00 p.m. so the vehicles involved in the collision could be moved from the roadway, police stated.
