VIRGINIA BEACH-Virginia Beach continues to dig out from the winter snow storm.
Public Works crews have been working around the clock since Tuesday night's snowfall.
Spokesman Drew Lankford says road crews will finish the 12-hour shifts they've been on since the storm, but they'll still have some crews at work.
"We think we have the worst behind us," he said during a live interview on 13News Now at Daybreak.
As you wake up Friday and leave your homes, be aware that snow is piled up alongside many streets and may be blocking storm drains. Snow that melted yesterday may have frozen overnight, creating black ice.
