VIRGINIA BEACH - Va. Beach Police are looking for the person who robbed a man on New Year's Eve.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Mountain Drive.

"The victim was apparently followed from a store at the intersection of Rosemont Road and Lynnhaven Parkway," explained MPO Jimmy Barnes.

Surveillance camera images show the suspect inside that store shortly before the robbery.  He was wearing a white, hooded jacket and a knit cap with a logo on the trim.

Anyone who can help identify the suspect should call the Virginia Beach Robbery Unit at 757-385-4101 or Crime Solvers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
