VIRGINIA BEACH - Police say they caught a man as he broke into cars parked in a Va. Beach condo complex.

31-year-old David Leffler of Pennsylvania was arrested after police were called to Chase Point Circle around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

A man heard his car alarm go off and saw someone near his car, police said. That person was seen pulling on the doors of several cars and was still there when police arrived.

Investigators say Leffler had some of the stolen items when they arrested him on charges of Third Offense Petit Larceny and Drunk in Public.

Police say they are looking for additional victims and need people to identify other items they recovered.
