VIRGINIA BEACH -They will be taking it to the tables to help raise money for the homeless. The 4th Annual Ping Pong for Poverty Charity Tournament starts on Friday, September 14 with its Celebrity Kick Off, Sing Off, and Auction, followed on Saturday, September 15 by the Table Tennis Tournament and Awards Ceremony.

The money raised will go to the People In Need Medical Ministry, a non-profit organization that has served homeless people in Virginia Beach since 2002. PiN provides free medical care and hope to create a clinic for the Beach homeless in the future.

This is the fourth year of the charity event and they expect to have raised a total of $150,000 after this year's tournament. It will be held at Corporate Landing Middle School at 1597 Corporate Landing Road in Virginia Beach

Celebrity Kick Off, Sing Off, and Auction

Friday, September 14

6pm-9pm

Table Tennis Tournament and Award Ceremony

Saturday, September 15

8am-4:30pm
