VIRGINIA BEACH— Expected storms could put a damper on events at the Oceanfront Saturday night.
“It was hot, but it started to cool down a bit,” tourist Lisa Bridegam said.
Nearly ten thousand people will come to enjoy the Monster Truck show at the Oceanfront. “One thing we did during our noon show is we adjusted our intermission to be right when it was raining. At that point, we were able to come right out and finish the show,” Mike Hilton show organizer said.
Hilton explained they’ve been closely watching the radar to plan out their events. “Our policy is we try to go rain or shine. If there is dangerous weather, we will make adjustments and stop the show,”
