Man stabbed at Kelly's Tavern in Va. Beach, suspect arrested

Police have charged 21-year-old Billy O’Neil Seabright of the 800 block of Sunnyside Drive in Virginia Beach with malicious assault.

VIRGINIA BEACH-- A Virginia Beach man has been arrested following a weekend stabbing at Kelly's Tavern on General Booth Blvd.

Police have charged 21-year-old Billy O’Neil Seabright of the 800 block of Sunnyside Drive in Virginia Beach with malicious assault.

Police say around 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, Seabright fought with two men inside the tavern and was asked to leave.  Once outside, the fight continued and Sebright allegedy stabbed one of the men.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated for a non-life threatening injury.  The other man was not injured.

Seabright is currently being held at the Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
