Man shot in Virginia Beach
VIRGINIA BEACH-- A man shot Friday afternoon in the Pecan Gardens neighborhood near Rosemont Avenue has died from his injuries.
Police say 24-year-old Charles Stephen Boston was found lying in the roadway in the 700 block of Hayes Avenue around 2 p.m.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say witnesses reported hearing 5 to 6 shots.
The investigation is ongoing.
