VIRGINIA BEACH - A barricade situation in a Va. Beach neighborhood came to an end four hours after it started, police say.
Authorities went to the home in the 1800 block of Wandsworth Drive around 9:10 a.m. Shortly before that, a man called police dispatchers to say he was able to get out of the house after someone there displayed the gun.
Police say the suspect was alone.
At 1:00 p.m., police said the situation was over and Wandsworth and Weybridge Drive, which intersects with Wandsworth, were reopened.
No information about the suspect was released.
