Bones found
VIRGINIA BEACH - Skeletal remains were found near a marsh in Va. Beach.
Police say they went to a vacant lot in the 4500 block of Bonney Road Wednesday afternoon after someone walking though the area spotted the bones.
Investigators say it appears the skeleton had been there "for a period of time."
The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the person.
