VIRGINIA BEACH--Police are looking for a man who used a skimming device to obtain debit card account numbers.
On April 15th and 17th, the device was placed on a stand- alone ATM machine located at the Landstown Commons retail center located in the 3300 block of Princess Anne Road.
The usage of the skimmed debit card account numbers took place from April 29th thru May 3rd at multiple ATMs in the state of Virginia. At this point police believe there were over 37 debit card account numbers compromised.
The financial loss is estimated to exceed $21,000.
On Friday, police released pictures of a man they are seeking as a suspect.
Investigators are asking people who believe their accounts may have been compromised during this time period to contact the Economic Crime Unit at 385-4101.
