VA. BEACH -- The Navy has identified a Virginia Beach-based Navy SEAL who died after parachute training.
Special Warfare Operator Chief Brett D. Shadle was attached to Naval Special Warfare Group 2, based at Little Creek Amphibious Base.
Shadle and another special forces member were injured Wednesday during free-fall skydiving training at Pinal Airpark north of Tucson. The park is part of US Special Operations Command.
Both were taken to University of Arizona Medical Center for treatment.
The other SEAL remains in stable condition.
31-year-old Shadle was from Elizabethville, Pennsylvania.
