Princess Anne Rd. fatal crash
VIRGINIA BEACH - An 81-year-old man was killed when his SUV went off the road in Va. Beach.
It happened around 4:10 p.m. Saturday, March 2 in the 500 block of Princess Anne Road.
Police say John Calvin Twiford was driving north when the 1995 Ford Explorer went off the road to the right, hit a mailbox, went into a ditch and struck a tree.
Twiford was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators believe he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and they're working to determine what caused him to lose control.
