Suffolk firearms stolen
*Update: Police said Thursday they are looking for two more 15-year-old males, allegedly involved in the Southern Gun Works burglary. Charges are still pending against the two teens that were already arrested.
SUFFOLK--Police arrested two teens for stealing 11 firearms from Southern Gun Works in Suffolk Sunday evening.
According to police, an alert citizen reported seeing two boys with rifles walking near Jackson Street. Officers found several firearms in the area which came from Southern Gun Works on S. Main Street in downtown.
Officers went to the business and found that someone had broken into the building.
A 14 and a 15-year-old are each charged with breaking and entering, larceny of firearm, possession of a firearm by a minor, larceny with intent to sell and conspiracy to commit a felony.
The juveniles are being held at the Tidewater Detention Home in Chesapeake.
According to police, all of the stolen firearms have been recovered.
