SUFFOLK -- A two-vehicle accident closed Nansemond Parkway at Kings Highway Thursday afternoon and the motorcyclist and the driver of a mini-van were injured.
Tha accident happened around 4 p.m. in the 4300 block of Nansemond Parkway.
The motorcyclist, Nicholas Novellino, was taken to Sentara Norfolk General. The extent of his injuries were not available.
One person in the van was taken to Sentara Belle Harbour with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Traffic was detoured at Nansemond Parkway and Driver Lane as well as Kings Highway and Driver Lane.
Police are still investigating the accident.
