SUFFOLK-A 14-year-old girl is charged in the Tuesday night stabbing of two teenagers.

The teen suspect turned herself a couple of hours later, said City spokeswoman Diana Klink.

Police were called to the 200 block of Holladay Street in downtown just before 9:00 p.m.  The victims who are sisters, ages 15 and 17, made it from Hill Street to the relative's home.

The 15-year old was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and her 17-year old sister was taken to Sentara Obici, said City spokeswoman Diana Klink. The older girl was treated and released; the younger girl is in fair condition.

The sisters live in the 300 block of Holladay, she added.

The 14-year-old is being held at the Tidewater Detention Home located in Chesapeake on two charges of malicious wounding.

Klink told WVEC.com that investigators believe the stabbing was the result of an ongoing dispute between two of the girls.
