SUFFOLK-- A trailer was badly damaged by fire Thursday afternoon.

Fire units responded to the 1100 block of Nansemond Parkway in the Magnolia Lakes Trailer Park. around 3:57 p.m.  

When they arrived there was heavy fire on the right side of the double-wide mobile home.  Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about a half hour.

A woman and her 4-year old daughter were ground transported to Sentara Norfolk General for observation.  No firefighters were injured.

Two adults and four children were displaced in the fire.  The cause of the fire has not been determined.
