SUFFOLK- A man is recovering after landing his scooter into a ditch.
Around 4:07 p.m. Sunday, Police and fire rescue responded to the 3200 block of White Marsh Road.
Investigators say a 50-year-old man was riding the scooter. He reported that a car was in his lane, causing him to run off the road into a ditch.
The man was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital via Nightingale transport. Police say he was conscious and alert during the flight. While the man is injured, officers say he should survive.
