SUFFOLK--Someone broke into several cars parked in Suffolk overnight Wednesday, but you might be surprised by what was taken.
"A pair of sandals, a football and a blackberry phone were taken. Purses and backpacks were left," city spokeswoman Diana Klink told WVEC.com.
Windows were broken on three vehicles parked at a home on Belleharbour Circle and on eight cars parking along Pear Orchard Way. The locations are less than a mile apart.
"I hope we're not being watched. We have kids running around this neighborhood," said a Pear Orchard Way resident, who wanted to remain anonymous.
One person's car was stolen.
No one was hurt in the incidents. If you know anything about these incidents, call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
