SUFFOLK-A Suffolk woman is charged with child endangerment after police say she drove drunk with her 8-year-old in the car.
Authorities say there was a domestic disturbance between Lara Mazur and Bobby Reynolds at his home on Sherwood Place Sunday afternoon and then Mazur drove off in his vehicle and struck a tree.
Reynolds says Mazur, his ex-girlfriend, had recently gotten out of jail and he was trying to help her with a place to stay. He also says the 8-year-old is one of two children they have together.
Mazur was located on Little John Road and arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving under the influence with a child, child endangerment, reckless driving, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and driving on a revoked license.
