SUFFOLK -- One person was injured Sunday during an early morning shooting in the College Square area of Suffolk.

Around 2:30 a.m. police responded to the 6000 block of Bradford Drive and found one victim who had been shot.

Police say a bullet grazed the head of an 18-year-old, who was then taken to Sentara Belleharbour for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The victim, who was in a car with three others, told police he was exiting out of the passenger rear door an unknown, dark colored, two-door Honda or Acura slowly drove by and they heard one shot.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
