SUFFOLK -- A man accused of violently beating a dog to death now faces charges of petit larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police say John Babb tried to shoplift hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart on North Main Street in Suffolk while he had a juvenile with him.
Babb was already charged with cruelty in the beating death of his family dog back in August.
