SUFFOLK -- A brush fire burned about 25 acres of land in Holland Sunday afternoon.

City spokeswoman Diana Klink said the fire started in a wheat field in the 5800 block of O’Kelly Drive.

Emergency Communications received the call at 3:25 p.m. The first unit got to O'Kelly Drive at 3:31 p.m. Crews had the fire under control at 4:09 p.m.

The cause of the fire was determined to be an issue with a combine that was working the field.
