SUFFOLK--One person was killed and two others injured in a two-vehicle accident on Rt. 460 in Suffolk Tuesday.

52-year-old Leonard Benjamin Johnston of Windsor lost control, went off the road and hit a pickup truck owned by Lewis Tree Service, Inc. It rolled several times before coming to a stop, police added.

Johnston was alone in his vehicle; the pickup truck driver and passenger were expected to recover from their injuries.

Investigators said Johnston was not wearing his seat belt. They're working to determine what caused him to lose control.
