PORTSMOUTH-- Police are looking for a registered sex offender who was left to care for three female children.
Detectives secured six felony warrants Thursday for 62-year-old Ronnie Foreman of the 700 block of Round Bay Road in Norfolk. He faces charges for aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties.
Police say on several occasions in February and March 2013, Foreman was left to care for three children, ages 7, 8 and 12. The parents, who live in Portsmouth, left the children routinely with Foreman while they went to work.
Police say the parents were unaware of Foreman's past and did not know he was a registered sex offender.
