PORTSMOUTH - A Portsmouth tenth grader posted threats against his school and had photos of guns on his Facebook page, police said.

Comments alluding to shooting up Woodrow Wilson High School were posted with the photographs, said Det. Jan Clark.

Clark says the guns belong to family members and the 16-year-old had pried open a container where the guns were kept, photographed them and put them back.

The posted were noticed Tuesday morning and the student was charged with one count of threatening bodily harm.

Clark stressed there was no evidence that the guns were ever taken to or near the school.
