NORFOLK-- Elizabeth River Crossings closed one lane of the eastbound Downtown Tunnel lanes Monday.
The right hand lane eastbound was closed as part of on-going paving operations. The closure was scheduled from 8 pm to 5 am.
Exit 8, the Berkley Avenue exit, was also closed. Motorists who wanted to use Exit 8 were detoured across the Berkley Bridge and back to I-464 south.
The left eastbound lane in the tunnel will be closed Tuesday night, again from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
