NORFOLK--Elizabeth River Tunnels announced Tuesday it will have two open houses in July so that the public can view design concepts for the upcoming Downtown Tunnel rehabilitation project.

Drivers will be able to learn more about proposed improvements to the tunnel, scheduled closures, alternate routes and other information about the project.

The first open house will be at I.C. Norcom High on London Blvd. in Portsmouth from 5:30p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 22nd.

The other will be the next night, July 23rd, during the same times at the American Red Cross on Brambleton Avenue in Norfolk.
