PORTSMOUTH -- Police say a woman who died in a Portsmouth home this week lived in Suffolk.
Ann Marie Gilkerson, 41, was found inside a home on Broad Street on Tuesday, February 7. Police say friends found her around 3:40 p.m. and called for help.
An autopsy shows Gilkerson had trauma to her body.
Her family wouldn't talk on camera but told 13News on Thursday that "she'll be missed."
That morning, just a few blocks away, a man was found dead in a burning vehicle in an alleyway between Florida and Mt. Vernon avenues.
On Thursday, police revealed that victim was 47-year old James Gough of Portsmouth. His cause of death is still being determined.
Police are not connecting the incidents at this time but are looking into the possibility.
