PORTSMOUTH (AP) -- The Coast Guard says the crew of a Portsmouth-based cutter helped to disrupt cocaine tracking in the northern Caribbean Sea during a 44-day patrol.

The cutter Harriet Lane returned to Portsmouth on Wednesday.

Its crew also detained 24 Cuban migrants and rescued a sea turtle during the counterdrug and migrant interdiction patrol.

The crew previously served aboard the Cutter Legare during the patrol before their cutter was placed in drydock, the Coast Guard stated.
