PORTSMOUTH - A car careened into a house in Portsmouth early Monday.
It happened around 7:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue.
Police say the 54-year-old driver had a medical problem and lost control of his green Mercury 4-door. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
He's charged with driving without being licensed, said Det. Misty Holley.
Meantime, the home has been condemned and the Red Cross says it's providing seven people - three adults and four children - emergency lodging. Spokesman Rob Shapiro says three of the children were at school at the time of the crash.
