NORFOLK--Police say an intoxicated driver drove his car into a 7-Eleven then backed out and left the scene.
The incident happened around 7:15 p.m.
The driver drove into the 7-Eleven on Little Creek Rd at Colonial Ave. The vehicle destroyed a window and knocked down some of the brick wall.
Police say the suspect then drove off but a witness took down his license plate.
The suspect, Ronald Carter, was arrested a short time later. He was charged with Felony Hit and Run.
