NORFOLK -- Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday for injuries sustained in an afternoon house fire.

Fire officials say heavy smoke was showing from the home in the 1400 block of Chapel Street in Norfolk when crews arrived around 5 p.m.  Officials believe the fire started in the kitchen.
