NORFOLK (AP) -- The submarine USS Boise returned home Thursday following a six-month deployment to the Mediterranean Sea.
The Navy says the Boise, a Los Angeles-class attack submarine, traveled more than 37,000 nautical miles during the deployment. It made port visits in Bergen, Norway; Scotland and Lisbon, Portugal.
