Popular Ghent restaurant 'closed indefinitely'

NORFOLK-- The Original Do-Nut Dinette in Ghent has closed it's doors "indefintely."

According to PilotOnline.com, there is a handwritten sign on the door that states that the restaurant is "closed indefinitely." 

The announcement came out Friday night. There is no word as to what led to the closure.

PilotOnline.com reports that there were many times that the business shut-down over the holidays, reasons included plumbing problems.

Do-Nut Dinette's first owner, Sheila Schneider operated the business for over 50 years. She sold it to Edward Franklin in 2005.
