NORFOLK-- One person was injured after shots were fired at a Masonic Lodge on Sunday morning.
A spokesperson with the police department advised that around 3:10 a.m. emergency dispatchers got a call about a gunshot victim.
Officers and Norfolk fire and rescue crews responded to the 1500 block of East Princess Anne Road.
A man was found with several gunshot wounds and was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. His injuries were considered to be non-life threatening.
A preliminary investigation determined that the victim was inside the Masonic Lodge attending an event.
No details have been released about possible suspects or a motive in the shooting.
