NORFOLK -- Police are looking for a Norfolk woman who hasn't been seen since last Wednesday.

Rosa A. Powell, 43, was last seen at 9 a.m on March 5 in the 900 block of Trice Terrace. Family and friends have been searching since then and have put up flyers in the neighborhood in hopes someone has seen her.

"She just disappeared. I just don't know. I don't want to think the worst, but she's nowhere. We've been everyone, under bridges, behind bushes, in dumpsters, just looking just in case she is out there and she's hurt," her daughter, Whitley Powell, said.

Her friend Alice Blowe says Powell didn't pick up her 11-year-old old son from school and never returned home. She also has two adult daughters, Blowe adds.

Powell is approximately 5'4" tall and weighs about 160 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a burgundy Virginia Tech sweatshirt, dark blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Powell has no known disabilities, but family says she does take medication for high blood pressure.

If anyone knows where Powell is or has seen her, contact Norfolk Police Department investigators at 757-664-7026.
