Teen arrested for having gun at Norfolk school

11/27 UPDATE: Police say the student was a 16-year-old 10th grader from Granby High School who was wanted on an unrelated Probation Violation.  He was taken into custody on that charge and during a subsequent search, the SRO found he had an unloaded handgun; he was charged with having a concealed weapon, said Officer Chris Amos.
Police are trying to determine why he was at Booker T. Washington HS.  

NORFOLK--A person brought a gun to Booker T. Washington High School Tuesday afternoon.

According to school spokesperson, Elizabeth Mather,  the person was arrested on the grounds after dismissal.

According to Mather, the gun in the person's possession was not loaded.
