ODU police investigate several on-campus burglaries and thefts

NORFOLK-- Old Dominion University Police are investigating several burglaries and thefts that reportedly happened on Friday.  Officials say laptop computers, tablets and cash were taken.

According to police, these incidents occurred in Rogers Main Residence Hall at 5:15 pm and in the Goode Theater. Unknown suspect(s) entered rooms that were reportedly locked and removed electronics. 

In addition, police report that unattended personal property was taken in the business areas along Monarch Way and Hampton Boulevard. 

Old Dominion University Police have increased patrols near the residence halls and initiated investigations. 

Anyone who may have information related to these offenses is encouraged to call Detective Taylor at 683-4000.
