NORFOLK -- A Norfolk business was damaged in an overnight fire Monday.

Officials say a concerned citizen called 911 after seeing smoke coming from Plaza del Sol in the 2200 block of Colonial Avenue around 1:15 a.m.

Smoke was coming from the roof when firefighters arrived. Crews were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes.

Nobody was in the restaurant at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

The fire was contained to the business, officials said.  Some smoke was found in adjoining buildings.

The cause remains under investigation.
