NORFOLK-Paul Fraim wants to keep his job as mayor of Norfolk. He announced Wednesday he's seeking his third term.
“While we have accomplished a lot together, there is more to do,” he said.
In 2006, Fraim became the city's first popularly-elected mayor since 1916. He won re-election in 2010. As a member of council, he was appointed mayor in 1994 and was reappointed every 2 years until May 2006.
In making his announcement, Fraim cited school construction, Wards Corner redevelopment, new house and other projects underway or completed during his time in office.
The election is set for May 6.
