1/2 UPDATE: Norfolk Police said the department has been in contact with the Gallery at Military Circle Mall security and management staff regarding the recent issues.
The mall has instituted additional security measures; however, it will need to be contacted for any specific details. Norfolk Police will monitor and provide assistance as needed, said Officer Chris Amos.

NORFOLK-Concerns from shoppers and tenants have prompted officials at Military Circle to see what else they can to stop rowdy groups of teenagers.

According to the Virginian Pilot, mall management will meet with the Norfolk Police Department about how best to deal with groups of teens who often hang out at the mall.

A crowd, believed to be in the hundreds, recently forced Macy's to close early.
