NORFOLK -- The Norfolk School Board expects to get an update Tuesday night on their goal to improve school accreditation.
In September, a new report showed only 69% of Norfolk schools are accredited, or meeting state standards.
During Tuesday night's meeting, the board will also hear a presentation on improving safety at Norfolk schools after the killing of a Lake Taylor High School student who was walking home after a football game at Booker T. Washington High School.
That incident led the district to move Friday night football games to Saturday afternoons.
