Norfolk McDonald's shooting
UPDATE: Police have charged 18-year-old Jaquan Lawrence, 21-year-old Jaquai Ried and 20-year-old Julius Parker, all of Norfolk, in connection with the drive-by shooting.
All three have been charged with malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit malicious wounding, use of a firearm, shooting into occupied dwelling and possession of stolen property.
NORFOLK-A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Norfolk.
Police were called to McDonald's at 1046 Campostella Road around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Officer Chris Amos, the man was outside the restaurant when shots were fired from a passing car. That car was found about four hours later - in the 3700 block of Buckingham Avenue - and three people were taken into custody, he stated.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and should recover, Amos said.
The names of those involved and a motive for the shooting weren't immediately available. No charges had been filed by mid-morning.
