NORFOLK -- Firefighters were able to secure a gas leak that blocked off traffic near West 21st Street. Several businesses were evacuated a precaution.
A spokesperson with the fire department says a contractor at Wigs 'N Things noticed a propane tank leaking shortly after 1:00 p.m. and called 911.
Traffic was blocked in the areas of West 21st, Granby and Omohundro Avenue.
Crews were able to burn off the fuel and secure the leak around 4:00 p.m.
No one was injured.
